Tucker Development acquired the 8.47-acre site at the intersection of Touhy and Lincoln Avenues in April 2019 and partnered with AECOM-Canyon Partners, a joint venture between AECOM Capital and Canyon Partners, to develop it.

Construction began in November 2021 and completed in July 2023. The project delivered 299 mid-rise residential units, more than 80,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and a landscaped public open space. Residential amenities include a one-acre elevated deck with a pool, putting green, and bocce court.

District 1860 anchors the Lincolnwood community as a live, dine, and shop destination.
